Zoomdoc NY ("Zoomdoc," "we," "us," or "our") provides in-home urgent medical care services in Rockland County, NY and surrounding areas. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit zoomdocny.com, book an appointment, subscribe to our communications, or use our services.

• Appointment & insurance information — date of birth, insurance carrier and ID, requested services, and preferred visit times.

• Website usage data — standard technical data such as browser type and pages visited, used to improve our website.

3. How we use your information

• To schedule, confirm, and provide in-home visits and telehealth consultations;
• To send appointment confirmations, reminders, technician arrival alerts, and care follow-ups by text or email (with your consent);
• To coordinate care with your primary care provider and process insurance;

• To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Text messaging & mobile information

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only:

• With healthcare providers involved in your care, including the licensed doctors who consult during your visit and your primary care provider;
• With service providers that help us operate (e.g., scheduling, messaging, or billing platforms), bound by confidentiality obligations;
• With insurance carriers to process coverage and claims;
• When required by law, such as in response to lawful requests by public authorities.

6. Health information & HIPAA

As a healthcare service, Zoomdoc NY maintains protected health information (PHI) in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and applicable state law. We use HIPAA-compliant technology, secure storage, and strict confidentiality standards. 7. Data security & retention

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Zoomdoc NY website at zoomdocny.com (the "Site"), operated by Zoomdoc NY ("Zoomdoc," "we," "us"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. The Site is informational

The Site describes our services and provides general information. Content on the Site is not medical advice, and no doctor–patient relationship is created by browsing the Site. Medical care is provided only through scheduled visits with our licensed providers, subject to separate consents you provide at the time of care.

3. Booking and communications

Appointments are booked by phone, text, WhatsApp, or through our secure scheduling system. Text messaging is governed by our SMS Terms & Conditions. Information about how we handle your data is in our Privacy Policy and, for protected health information, our Notice of Privacy Practices.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Site in any way that violates applicable law;
• Do not attempt to interfere with the Site's operation or security;
• Do not misrepresent your identity or submit false information;
• Do not copy, scrape, or reuse Site content except as permitted below.

5. Intellectual property

The Site and its content — including the Zoomdoc name, logo, graphics, photographs, and text — are owned by Zoomdoc NY or its licensors and are protected by law. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our prior written permission.

The Site may link to third-party services (for example, our patient portal or scheduling system). Those services have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for third-party sites.

Zoomdoc NY ("we," "us") is required by law to maintain the privacy of your protected health information ("PHI"), to give you this Notice of our legal duties and privacy practices, and to follow the terms of the Notice currently in effect.

2. How we may use and disclose your health information

• Treatment. We use and share PHI to provide and coordinate your care — for example, our technicians and licensed providers share information during your visit, and we send visit summaries and results to your primary care provider.
• Payment. We use and share PHI to bill and collect payment — for example, submitting claims to your insurance carrier.
• Health care operations. We use PHI to run our practice — quality review, training, scheduling, and improving our services.
• Appointment reminders and care communications. We may contact you by phone, text (with your consent — see our SMS Terms), or email to confirm visits and follow up on care.
• As required by law. Including public-health reporting, abuse or neglect reporting, health oversight, judicial and administrative proceedings, law enforcement as permitted, and to avert a serious threat to health or safety.
• Business associates. Vendors who perform services for us (for example, labs, billing, or secure technology providers) must safeguard your PHI under written agreements.

Uses and disclosures other than those described above — including most uses of psychotherapy notes, marketing uses, and any sale of PHI — will be made only with your written authorization, which you may revoke at any time.

3. Your rights

• Access. You may inspect and receive a copy of your health record, usually within 30 days of your request.
• Amendment. You may request corrections to your record if you believe it is inaccurate or incomplete.

4. Complaints

5. Changes to this notice
